ARI – Jugendverband der Armenier in Deutschland e.V.
About the organisation
One of our key projects in the past three years was the “Future Lab: Sustainable Communities” initiative, a youth-led program focused on equipping young people with the skills to actively shape a more sustainable and inclusive future.
The project directly addressed the **green transformation** by engaging participants in workshops on climate action, sustainable consumption, and local environmental initiatives. Young people developed and implemented small-scale projects such as community clean-ups, awareness campaigns, and sustainable event planning.
In terms of the **social transformation**, the project created an inclusive space for dialogue and collaboration among participants from diverse backgrounds. It emphasized democratic participation, equal opportunities, and intercultural exchange, strengthening social cohesion and empowering youth to take an active role in their communities.
The **digital transformation** aspect was integrated through training sessions on digital tools, online collaboration, and responsible digital communication. Participants used digital platforms to design campaigns, share their work, and connect with peers across regions.
By combining these three dimensions, the project enabled young people to understand the interconnected nature of environmental, social, and technological challenges and to develop practical solutions with real local impact.
