Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory

About the organisation

Over the past three years, the Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory has been actively involved in the digitization of the Markarian Survey, which has been recognized as UNESCO heritage. In addition, we are deeply engaged in promoting scientific tourism, advancing astronomy education, and conducting teacher training projects. We also strive to involve the community in astronomy through numerous initiatives, including organizing stargazing events and other outreach activities.
