Yerevan Music Week (YMW), which is a week-long talent showcase festival and a conference, that comprises of a showcase festival, panel discussions, specialised workshops and networking sessions.

YMW encourages collaboration between Armenian musicians, industry representative and regional/international artists and professional as a way of promoting international and cross-cultural collaboration.

By bridging the gap between Armenian musicians and industry professionals and the international music communities, YMW aims to help define new pathways and lay strong foundations for musicians and music professionals in Armenia and beyond by:

• providing a platform for showcasing talent

• creating opportunities for capacity building and further professional development

• offering networking and partnership opportunities

• creating pathways and progression routes into international markets for music export with solo or collaborative content

• inspiring musicians to better meet their potential

• empowering (young/female) musicians to showcase themselves and express creative ideas

• nurturing the music community

• encouraging cross-border/cultural collaborations and partnerships in order to grow audiences and fan basis internationally

• promoting the use of digital tools and technologies, including AI

• promoting ecological and sustainable methods when producing programming and projects

• supporting live music venues and creative spaces to offer unique musical programming to their audiences and beyond
